Fighting Against Breed Specific Legislation (Meet Maya - The National Dog Day Hero Dog of 2008!)

From stand-alone shelters that house homeless pets and rescue networks with foster families, to wildlife refuges, zoos and animal sanctuaries, we are here to help you support the animals in your care.
 

Please do not call to inquire about the status of your ALREADY SUBMITTED application until 3 months has passed since submission. We receive several hundred applications per year and do not have the resources to devote to answering questions about approval. You will only be notified if your grant application has been approved. If you are approved, notice via phone or U.S. mail will be sent within 3 months of submission. Just because you do not receive notice within 3 months, does not mean that your application has been declined. It’s very possible that you have been put on a waiting list and a representative will attempt to notify you about that as soon as possible.
